Owners and landlords of residential buildings with three or more units must post the "Housing Information Guide Notice" (Notice) to inform tenants that a housing information guide called "ABCs of Housing" is available.
This Notice must be posted and be visible from the area where mail is delivered. Owners and landlords who fail to post the notice will receive a class A violation and may have to pay a civil penalty of $250. During inspections, inspectors will check that the Notice is properly posted.
