Inmates in Department of Correction (DOC) facilities may have an inmate fund account. Inmates can use money from their account to buy food in the commissary and more.

You can deposit money into an inmate’s account by phone, online, by mail, or in person.

Learn more about inmate fund accounts.

DOC has arranged with several money transfer agents to accept deposits for an inmate fund account. You can make a deposit using a credit card or debit card over the phone or online.

A fee is charged for all transactions handled by the money transfer agents. DOC does not receive any of these fees.

To transfer money to an inmate using a money transfer agent, you must provide the inmate's first and last name and book and case number.
